Design Embroidery was started by Virginia in 1999. She had been a stay-at-home but her kids were getting older and she was looking for something to spend her time on. A family friend introduced her to the world of commercial embroidery. She leased a small two-head machine and set-up shop in the garage of her Nampa home. After learning the basics and picking up work wherever she could she landed her first big client from a referral from church. From there, word of her excellent customer service and quality work spread and she was able to partner with a promotional company Boise.
With the increase in business she upgraded from a two-head to a six-head machine. Around the same time she moved to Boise and recruited her daughter, Stacy to help with operations.
In 2006, she purchased her home in Boise and set-up her shop. In order to keep up the demand she decided it was time to add more machines.
You can now find Virginia, Stacy, and Zero working in the shop. Virginia and Stacy have a combined 40 years of experience in the embroidery business. They can help answer in questions or concerns you may have.
